“Speak the truth, even if your voice shakes”

Survivor turned advocate, speaking out one sentence at a time.

I used to be a survivor of sexual abuse, but now, I am a thriver, determined to spread awareness. I am also a sister, daughter, friend, baker and writer who stopped searching for temporary bandages and found solace, acceptance, and healing in God. My past has shaped me, but it does not define me.

So good to meet you, Sarah. I’m glad you stopped my blogged so I could find yours. Survivors, no matter where they come from, what they are surviving/thriving from, are forever connected. ♥

  2. The word Thriver was just introduced to my vocabulary about a month ago. It resonated with me and I like it so much more than Survivor – I don’t believe I have ever just survived – It has always been so much more than that. I look forward to reading your blog.

  3. I’m thankful to God that He is using you to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. For such a time as this! We are living in an era that unfortunately more and more are victims of sexual abuse. If we don’t speak for truth, then those who need to hear it will not get the message. Thank you for your bravery, your way of ministering to those who are hurting by using your own testimony and thank you for following my blog.
